Attention:

This rebuild service requires that you:

  • Verify that your module matches the product photo

    • Only send in the module; please do not send the pump and motor

    • Lid styles may vary

    • KH - Series 30 - If your module plugs directly onto the pump motor, we can still rebuild your module

    • Remove your module

    • Carefully pack and ship it to us - Instructions

    • We rebuild it and ship it back to you

    • Re-install your module and get back on the road

    Known issues we fix:

    • C0265 - EBCM Relay Circuit

      • 201 - Relay Fault (Series 30)

    • C0267 / C0268 - Pump Motor Circuit Open/Shorted

    • Pump motor running

      • If your motor continues to run after installing the rebuilt module, you may have a bad motor.  Please contact us.

    • Solenoid faults

      • C0251

      • C0241

      • C0254

    We are unable to fix the following:

    • C0273 - EBCM malfunction (this is a terminal code)
    • C0550 - (this is a terminal code)

    Additional Notes:

    • To prevent the motor from burning out if it is continuously running, you can remove the ABS fuse.  Don't forget to put the fuse back in later!

    Actual solutions!

    This has been on my long term to do list for 3 years now, as I try to keep up with a 2001 Blazer. Looking on model-dedicated forums, all signs pointed to codes that were listed as fixable according to the detailed description of the services provided at ModuleMaster for this Kelsey Haynes unit. (No fatal codes.) I didn't even have a printer at the time, so I couldn't put the order slip in the package, I handwrote a note with my order number and info on it. (And felt like a schmuck, sorry guys!) I followed up with an email once I saw the tracking showed delivered to them. Cali responded very quickly and said they already had it checked in and scheduled for repair. She gave me an eta that was spot on. Module came back, wrapped great, cleaned up, with a full invoiced description of the work done to the internals. The ABS module works fantastic, all lights brake related disappeared as soon as I turned the key, without even clearing them with a scan tool. I was highly impressed from start to finish with this company, they offer a true quality refurbishment, and when it comes out of the box, you know why they warranty their product for as long as they do. Thanks for helping people keep their vehicles on the road!

    So far everything thing has worked out with the repair work that your Technician had done on my Kelsey-Hayes ABS unit for my 2001 Chevrolet.
    After many years of the ABS lights shining as I drove down the road, it sure is sweet to see the instrument cluster free of annoying warning lights, especially at night.
    The cost of the repair is very reasonable, and the 5 year warranty shows confidence in your workmanship.

    The ABS module rebuild by Module Masters worked out exactly as I had hoped. The process was smooth, the rebuilt unit works like new and the customer service was excellent. I recommend this service as a low-cost, high satisfaction arrangement!

    Module sent in for ABS fault and pump running constantly. I was very impressed with the description of service and what parts were replaced on invoice. Module repaired and returned in a very timely manner. Part works FLAWLESSLY! Great service!
