Clock Toyota Matrix (2003-2006) Rebuild

In all it was a good deal. I talked to the office and they told me what the tech found and what was replaced. I would have liked a written report but not. I liked getting the same part back. My question now is, did they replace the lamp that turns on the airbag light? The work looks first class, nice work. NOTE they do all kinds of work on the late models dash, radios, electronics, electrical stuff... ask them about it. They use the USPS and that's as good as it gets... lol on using the other shippers. These guys will be my first choice for good workmanship and note they have a fully equipped shop with all the test equipment that is a must. They have a FAST turn around time, takes longer to mail it than for them to do the work! Questions, talk to them first... NOTE: The clock was fixed on a 2006 Toyota Matrix as the clock went off / dark all the time... It's now as good as new.
Please note that when you remove the clock to be fixed, that the RED (airbag light) light on the dash will come-on and stay on when driving the car. The check engine light (yellow dash light) WILL NOT come on during the removal of the clock (for repairs)... or after it is replaced / put back-in. I taped over the electric plug for the clock during this time. Just placed / hung the bezel- frame back in place during the wait for the clock's return, it never moved. For sure would use this place again.

My 2006 toyota matrix clock stopped working. A common problem. Tried to fix it twice and gave up. New ones are ridiculous price from toyota. $450 for a little circut board. Mod master fixed it quick and cheap. Now i have my clock back and the airbag warning light is gone too. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I was getting two airbag codes and an airbag dash warning light. I fixed the first code by swapping out the clock spring but the other code referred to the passenger airbag light in the clock module. The clock in my 2006 Matrix had not worked for years but now I had a problem I needed to get fixed. I found a solution on YouTube that talked about touching up the solder on one bank of connections on the board. I took it to my company which has a solder team and they did that. It sort of worked for a day or two then the clock display faded again. I searched and found Module Master and immediately set up a repair. The unit was fixed and back in my car inside a week from when I sent it! Great response, great repair, and for so much less than I would have paid for a "new" unit. Highly recommended! The unit has been working flawlessly for a couple of weeks since I got it back.

My airbag light would turn on/off at random times and the clock numbers were dimming. That's all fixed now, so many thanks! Very pleased.
