About Your Module
Currently, we are unable to repair the Bosch 5.0 module. Here's why...
The module shown above mounts directly to the ABS hydraulic unit. It contains only
the solenoids which operate the hydraulic valves. The control electronics are located in
the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) shown below. This module is located under the
dash or rear seat, away from engine heat, vibration, and weather. For this reason, these
modules tend not to fail. However, When they do, the problem is usually due to a failed
microprocessor. Since these chips are custom made, we are unable to find replacements for
them.
Common Problems
• Loss of communication with module.
• Loss of one or more wheel sensor inputs.
• Intermittent functionality.
• Water penetration.
What a Rebuild Includes
ModuleMaster uses a 5-step rebuild process which begins with a thorough cleaning
by bead blasting. Next, our trained technicians make component-level repairs using
high-grade silver solder. We then perform a preventative maintenance procedure which
involves replacing all components known to fail with the highest quality upgrades
available. Modules are then thermally treated to ensure longevity. Finally, we test
each module to factory specifications in order to guarantee trouble-free installation.
Warranty
All ModuleMaster rebuilds come with a 5-year guarantee against module related
failures.
