I'll admit that I was a skeptic at first but you have proven me wrong. I called the dealer and asked them if they could replace the EBCM and how much that would be. I was told to call U-Haul! This service advisor had no clue what I requested. Anyway I thought to myself that if he had no clue that I was already more qualified to tackle this job. I followed the indepth instructions and the result was perfect. I told everyone at work after the weekend. You should be receiving some calls in the near future. Thanks again ModuleMaster.

I was VERY skeptical at first when I was told about your web site and services. But the thought of paying the dealer a THOUSAND dollars for an ABS Module convinced me to take a chance. So I pulled my unit and sent it to you for repair. It came back overnight as ordered and thankfully installation was a snap, thanks to your instructions and the short video! I have to say you folks are the real deal! Everything you committed to do you did and your instructions especially with regard to after repair installation were spot on! I have done a lot of parts business online in the past 10 years with the usual horror stories to show for it. NOT THIS TIME! I wish you guys did more than modules! I can say with confidence that you folks are THE REAL DEAL. Anyone that doesn't believe you is missing out on the opportunity to work with a first rate organization that delivers as promised. I have passed along your info to all my motor head friends. Thanks again for a job well done.

Thank you and Thank you,

After driving around for three years with the ABS service light on, I finally decided to get a second opinion and a repair quote from what I had been given previously. It was the same outcome with a price tag of $850.00 plus for the (ECM) and labor. Decided to hold off on repair since no one, had the part in stock locally, all rebuilds for $400.00. Was doing research on the web for parts through Ebay and other Chevy sites and stumbled across your company. Your staff talked me through the removal process and put my mind at ease in regards to the vehicle still being drivable while the unit was out. Out comes the defective unit and in goes the repaired unit. Unfortunately the problem still persisted. Contacted your staff again and again they were very helpful in instructing me how to check the pump and removing it. Luckily your company repairs this unit as well. Needless to say I got both units repaired through your company at a fraction of the cost of one. And everything works as it should now.

My sincere appreciation,

I just wanted to drop you a note of appreciation. My experience dealing with your company has been awesome. Your rebuild of my Bosh 5.7 ABS unit was fast, the instructions thorough, your costumer service great, and the rebuilt unit works likes a charm (despite what my mechanic predicted). Best of all my wife is no longer talking about getting a new car I can’t afford.

Thanks a bunch!

After many unneeded replacements of wheel sensors, I sent my ABS module for a 2000 528i BMW to you for rebuild. The on-line instructions were the best I have seen and the results before and after sending were exactly as you predicted them to be. We received back the module in the estimated time, were charged exactly as quoted, installed as instructed in the return box and all is well. No lights; smooth sailing. Thank you for the best product and service I have received from any company.

My Catera ABS module has been down for 3 years. A repair shop wanted $1350 plus labor for a new mod. When I could no longer get a back-room inspection sticker for the car, I went on-line and found ModuleMaster. I saved over $1100 and could not be any happier. I had a certified mechanic remove and re-install the module for $300. The car was not driven, with-out the mod, per mechanic's recommendation. It took about 10 working days (holiday weekend) from removal to re-install, but was well worth it. I now have an inspected 2000 Catera, with an ABS module guaranteed for 5 years. All for $525...PRICELESS.

Every two years, my abs unit would go out. The third time, I said, "forget it! I'm not going to spend another six hundred dollars for only a one year warranty". Along comes MODULEMASTER.COM with a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY for only one hundred and fifty dollars. Damn, what do I have to lose?! So, I took mine out and sent it in. Within the week, they sent one back. I plugged it in, popped in the fuse and it worked like a charm. NO MORE DASH LIGHTS! Yea!

I recently send my Kelsey Hayes 325 module (1999 Dodge Ram 3500) to be repaired. The motor was unplugged when I got the truck, after you repaired it works fine for $150.00 very satisfied.

I just received my rebuilt module this morning and put it in my SAAB this afternoon. Everything appears to work great!! Thanks for everything. Your staff that answers the phone was excellent and it appears that the techinician work rebuilding the module was also superb. A pleasure to have worked with you.

I've apparently been driving around with a bad ABS module for more than a year. Last year the BMW dealer had my 528i in their shop 4 times with the ABS, DSC, and Brake lights lit. Finally they told me they'd found the problem, and that my speed sensors needed to be replaced for a HUGE amount of money. I decided I could live without ABS and DSC. When the speedometer recently began failing I decided it was the last straw, and I started shopping around for a new car.

Then I heard what happens when an ABS module goes bad, and I recognized the symptoms. So I looked online ... and that's when I came across ModuleMaster. And boy am I glad I did! This week ModuleMaster rebuilt my ABS module, returned it to me quickly, and I'm absolutely thrilled to report that everything works PERFECTLY!!! Instead of buying a new car, I get to keep my BMW and it only cost me $300!! Thanks so much for doing a great job!

Just wanted to say "thank you" for the quick, expert service. My rebuilt Kelsey Hayes 325 module is now 100% perfect, just installed it this afternoon and it works great. No more ABS light, problem solved. The great thing is, it cost me $140 instead of nearly $1000 at the dealership. My mechanic was less than thrilled to hear that I wanted him to take off my ABS unit so I could mail it out to a repair shop, but when I took the module back today to have it re-installed, he was very impressed with how quickly I got the unit back. He couldn't believe that you guys offer a 5 year warranty when a brand new unit from the dealer only carries a 1 year warranty! He said the little packets of lube, dielectric grease, and the new bolts were a nice touch. He just replaced the same ABS module on a Chevy Blazer, and it took him 3 weeks to get one from the dealer, they are backordered for that long. With his labor cost, a new ABS module runs about $1100 with installation. My ABS module cost me $140 from Module Masters plus $35 in labor. That's a much better solution, in my opinion.

Again, thanks for providing such good service and at a fair price.

I received yesterday my Bosch 5.7 ABS module, it was nicely packed and covered with an anti-static bag. I installed back in the car and after several seconds the ABS and brake lights went out. Now the speedometer and cruise control are fully operational. The check engine light went off after a short drive. I am extremely pleased with your rebuild. I called your company several times for information and was treated very professional. I am very happy with the results.

Thanks for caring, you should be commended!

A week ago I received and installed the repaired ABS module you returned for my ’01 Volvo V70 T5. So far, the car has been functioning trouble-free since re-installing the module—no warnings for the ABS, the brakes or the stability traction control. Thank you for the repair. I will not hesitate to recommend you to others for a fair, reasonable price and apparently good work.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that my module came in, I got it installed, and it’s working perfectly. Thank you very very much for rushing this one through for me. My family and I are headed out for a vacation that will probably end up being around 4000 miles total. I’m leaving with confidence in my braking system! Outstanding customer service! Thanks again

Just wanted to let you know I received my repaired module for my Chevy Suburban last Saturday the 17th. I'm not a mechanic but I had it reinstalled and connected in less than 15 minutes, reinstalled the fuse and everything worked great! I gave all your info to a friend of mine who is a service manager for a private shop that repairs foreign cars in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego. He says they see a lot of ABS module failures and certainly can use a good rebuilder.

Thank you,

Thank You. I received the unit on Monday, installed it that afternoon and no more dashboard lights. I had a check engine light that I reset that has also not come back on. The car seems to run fine. This gives it a new lease on life!

Just wanted to send a note of appreciation and thank you for the excellent, honest, low cost service that you provide. Last spring my Volvo V70 T5 ABS module went bad and I found your web site when I was anxiously looking for any alternative to paying $1,200 to the dealer for just a new part. The info on your web site, the excellent instructions on how to locate, remove and install the module, the fact that my entire repair would be less than the CA sales tax if I bought from Volvo, and their one year guarantee vs. 5 years from you, convinced me to give ModuleMaster a try. But honestly, I still thought it sounded too good to be true.

Well, everything in the process went exactly as you described on your site and it has been about one year since the repair, and my ABS has worked perfectly ever since. Thinking about how skeptical I was that you could fix my module for over $1,350 (part, tax, labor) less than the dealer, I think you guys should really consider a new tag line, "If it sounds too good to be true, it must be ModuleMaster!".

I will keep telling tell everyone I see with a Volvo, about you. Thanks again!

Just wanted to let you know that I got the rebuilt Bosch 5.3 ABS module back yesterday and installed it this morning. I test drove it by taking the car up to ~35 mph and then slammed on the brakes a few times - it works wonderfully.

Life is good: My wife is very happy to have her car back with a working ABS. I am happy to have my car back - she was driving my car while I've been bicycling. The only sour note is that the Passat ate a T-20 bit during the install and I couldn't find it even after 30 minutes of searching the engine compartment / crawling under that car and poking into various cracks and crannies. Luckily, I had two T-20s.

Cheers,
David

Just a short note to say thank you very much for the quick repair and turnaround on my Bosch ABS module. Re-install took a lot less time than the removal; started vehicle and everything tested okay with all alarms clearing normally – of course with an intermittent one never knows for sure – and remained clear for the test drive. Hopefully my Passat problems, with this device at least, are over. Once again thank you very much and have a great day!

Hey guys and gals. Hooked up my Kelsey 325. Took me about 10 minutes. Works GREAT!!!! Thanks, You saved me about $900 from the dealer price. I'm making a youtube video of the project and will post it on the web with credits to you guys, of course. Good work. If only there were more folks like you out there.

After senting you the ABS module to repair and I got it back. The service was great and fast. I will tell all of my friends about ModuleMaster. I work at a chevrolet dealership in my home town and the price of that ABS module was $1,063.00 for a new one. ModuleMaster saved me a boat load of money to repair it. Again, thanks for the great service.

I received my rebuilt ABS Module for my 2002 Chevrolet Suburban today. I read the instructions and installed it with ease. It works perfectly! So thankful for the hundreds of dollars saved over having a dealer install a new one....probably a whole new ABS pump. Thank you guys for what you do!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I spoke with a tech last week that said a right front wheel sensor code popped up on my module when it was being rebuilt. I replaced my wheel sensor yesterday and my traction and abs lights when off, so everything is working fine now. Thank you guys so much for all your help.

I’ve had 3 ABS related lights on my 2000 BMW 528I dashboard that have been on for over a year. My last mechanic told me it was most likely a failing ABS Module and that it would cost about $1,300 to replace it with a 1 year warranty but that he knew someone who rebuilt them and warrantied them for 2 years for about $800. This was after I’d just dropped $1,400 with him to do a series of other repairs.

Being reluctant to part with another large chuck of cash I’d put off the repair until a Certified BMW Master mechanic I know informed me of ModuleMaster’s services. I checked the website, which was nicely laid out, and easily navigated to find accurate instructions to find my BMW’s ABS module, remove it (six Torx screws and 2 connectors) and ship it. I got it back on Monday – 5 days later as promised – and when I easily re-installed it, miraculously all my ABS lights as well as a Check Engine Light went off all for about $320. I’ve driven it now for about 200 miles with no issues and couldn’t be happier at having saved a lot of $ as well as having all my ABS dashboard lights off as they should be. I’ll be sure to recommend ModuleMaster to anyone I know with similar issues. Thanks for the great service – much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jay Varney

P.S. – I might mention that in step 4 of the removal procedure on your website you mention covering the exposed surface of the ABS Modulator with aluminum foil. This initially concerned me as it seemed counter intuitive to cover the exposed solenoids with metal foil as it seemed to me that might cause some sort of an electrical mishap – especially in light of the fact that there is a second small electrical connector on the ABS Modulator that isn’t mentioned in your removal procedure.

Back in your FAQ section in question # 6 you say “Cover the area with plastic wrapping and tape or similar material. Make a dirt-proof and waterproof "cap" out of duct tape.” This seemed more logical to me than using aluminum foil so I cut down an old Tupperware container that was about the size of the ABS Modulator and used it with some masking tape to cover the exposed ABS Modulator. After driving 30 miles to work I thought I’d check to see how it had held up and was surprised to find that the reasonably thick Tupperware container had somewhat melted and was deformed due to heat from the ABS Modulator or just the inside of my engine compartment.

I called your toll free number and spoke with a helpful woman who convinced me that using the foil was the better plan. I chose to undo the second small electrical connector on the ABS Modulator just to assure myself that the foil wouldn’t cause any electrical issues.

I mention all the above to you so that you might revise or clarify your website to avoid confusion on the part of future ModuleMaster customers. All the best and thanks again for your services.

What a Great Service! You guys saved me over $1000 on purchasing a new part & shop labor. The ABS Module has been installed for several months now & works great. I also appreciate the 5 year warranty - much better than the 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty @ the dealership. I can't "Thank You" enough!

I want to thank you again for a wonderful job you did of fixing the ABS Module on my 99 Mustang Cobra. The ABS light kept coming on and off when it wanted, so after getting it out, i sent it to you for the repair. Got it back in about a week and the ABS light stays off now! Great Job! The dealer wants $1198 for a new one that can go out on me again. This is also the second module you have fixed for me, the first was about 2 years ago on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe, and I never had another problem with that one either. Thanks for offering this service to us all. Feel free to have anyone contact me for a reference for you at anytime at disneyfun1@cox.net

Thanks again!

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you for getting my Dynamic Stability Control / ABS module working again. I just received it back from you today and I was so relieved to see the DSC warning light turn off in the instrument cluster. I have tried to do some peel outs but the DSC keeps the wheels from spinning (which is the desired result). I will be telling everyone I know about your module repairs because you saved me $1700!

I’m writing this letter to commend you on the quality of service and efficiency that I received from you and your staff. I have to be honest that I was a little nervous and skeptical. I thoroughly reviewed all the companies that offer this similar service. In the end, I choose “Module Master”. I have a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado that had an issue with ABS Module running all the time (Kelsey Hayes 325 EBCM). When researching Module Master’s web site, I noticed they also repair instrument clusters. There web site pointed out they were able to replace the burned out bulbs and stepper motors that run the various gauges. In reviewing that section, I decided to remove my instrument cluster to have it repaired at the same time. I mailed the parts via FedEx on Thursday, December 31, 2009 and they received the parts Wednesday, January 6, 2010. (This was my fault for mailing over a holiday). They had both the EBCM and Instrument Cluster repaired by Friday morning January 8, 2010. I was so anxious to get the parts back that I paid to have them shipped next day. I received them by 10:00a.m on Saturday, January 9, 2010. I had both parts installed in little over an hour. Wow! My ABS is functioning properly and the Instrument cluster is like new. If your one of those skeptical people like me that says 99.9% of the time it’s too good to be true. I experienced it first hand that Module Master is the real deal!! They saved me over $1,000. I will be the first to admit that I always wonder how true some of these testimonials are. I will certainly tell and refer anyone that I know who is experiencing similar issues. I’m very satisfied with the quality service and prompt turnaround.

I have a VW Passat 4Motion built in 2000. My ABS module was broken, it doesn't communicate at all with the computer. I tried to find another one, second hand, because Bosch is selling the new one for 2300 USD in Romania.

I installed a few from other old cars, including one ordered from Italy, but no one works. With no hope, I ordered one from ModuleMaster and after 15 days I got it by mail. It works just PERFECT and now, after one year with my ABS broken, I don't care if it snows during night when I have to leave home early in the morning to drive hundreds of miles through the mountains.

THANK YOU a lot, Masters!

Just a note: I learned of Module Master on the internet web page www.justanswer.com and the Cadillac mechanic Vladgmru. This is an interesting web page.
