Removal Procedure
Since 1998, the Ford F150 has been fitted with 4 different ABS controllers.
Find your model year below for removal instructions.
1998-1999: Kelsey Hayes 310
1) Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2) Disconnect the two electrical connectors as shown.
3) Disconnect the pump motor electrical connector from the ABS module.
4) Remove the 4 screws securing the module to the hydraulic unit.
5) Remove the module.
2000-2003: Kelsey Hayes Ford
1) Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2) Disconnect the electrical connector.
3) Disconnect the pump motor electrical connector from the bottom of the ABS module.
4) Remove the 4 screws securing the module to the hydraulic unit.
5) Remove the module.
2004-2006: Bosch 5.4
1) Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2) Disconnect the electrical connector by pulling out the side locking tab as shown.
3) Disconnect the pump motor electrical connector from the back of the module.
4) Remove the 6 screws securing the module to the hydraulic unit.
5) Remove the module.
2007-2008: Ate/Teves Mark25e
1) Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2) Disconnect the electrical connector.
4) Remove the 3 or 4 screws securing the module to the hydraulic unit.
5) Remove the module.
